Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cide's Hikmet Rüşti started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gevrekli SK's Birdal Ünalp got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Fadıl Özozan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 17 minutes, İskender Özender mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cide and the Gevrekli SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cide getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. İskender Özender hit a great ball. Ergin Ülgen was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Hikmet Rüşti capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hikmet Rüşti really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Hikmet Rüşti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gevrekli SK's zone, Mehmet Emin Muzaffer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ergin Ülgen came out of the goal and Mehmet Emin Muzaffer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mehmet Emin Muzaffer got free with Ergin Ülgen in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 37 minutes, Fadıl Özozan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gevrekli SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fadıl Özozan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bahadır Sabuncuoğlu in the 39th minute of play forced Cide's goalkeeper Kamil Onay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hikmet Rüşti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ergin Ülgen having to interfere. Hikmet Rüşti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Fadıl Özozan made the kick off in the second half. Hikmet Rüşti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ergin Ülgen having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hikmet Rüşti in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ergin Ülgen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Cide booed when Gevrekli SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kutay Çalapover didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mehmet Emin Muzaffer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mehmet Emin Muzaffer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Emin Muzaffer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hikmet Rüşti in the 74th minute of play forced Gevrekli SK's goalkeeper Ergin Ülgen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Gevrekli SK getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Akil Özveri hit a great ball. Cide's Nusrettin Salti couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 76th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gevrekli SK. Mehmet Emin Muzaffer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ergin Ülgen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Gevrekli SK's goal looked a bit too open when Hikmet Rüşti came free, but Ergin Ülgen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Cide's goalkeeper Kamil Onay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fadıl Özozan. Ergin Ülgen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Emin Muzaffer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cide had won after a very even match.
