The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Özgür Savtur helped the player get up and apologised. 3 minutes into the game, one of Dargecit:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Yasin Evvah shot the penalty kick right outside the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seyhan Erdursun in the 10th minute of play forced Dargecit's goalkeeper Ender İshak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes Dargecit got a freekick which was hit by Hulki Gürgen. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Ilgaz Suat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malatyaspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Ilgaz Suat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ender İshak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ender İshak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ilgaz Suat's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Kubat Deryace was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malatyaspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dargecit the free kick. Kubat Deryace kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Alptuğ Adaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malatyaspor's Babür Özerman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hulki Gürgen in the 32nd minute of play. Emran Özluer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Babür Özerman made a huge save. Babür Özerman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiz Oksay, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Emran Özluer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dargecit's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emran Özluer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Ilgaz Suat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Seyhan Erdursun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Orbay Erdemer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malatyaspor's Babür Özerman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiz Oksay in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Malatyaspor's goal looked a bit too open when Emran Özluer came free, but Babür Özerman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiz Oksay took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Babür Özerman. Babür Özerman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ilgaz Suat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malatyaspor's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
