Atay Fişek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Ender Atasan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Selim Bozok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gülnar FK's Ender Atasan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Gülnar FK from getting a goal against them. Güner İnanır sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Güner İnanır fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baransel Akşin having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Gülnar FK's Güner İnanır nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baransel Akşin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Güner İnanır had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute Arda Göksel Kuluk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baransel Akşin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Ankaragücü's goal looked a bit too open when Güner İnanır came free, but Baransel Akşin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arda Göksel Kuluk in the 39th minute of play forced Ankaragücü's goalkeeper Baransel Akşin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Ankaragücü's goal looked a bit too open when Güner İnanır came free, but Baransel Akşin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baransel Akşin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arda Göksel Kuluk in the 43rd minute of the match. After having played for 45 minutes, Güner İnanır managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gülnar FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Güner İnanır was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The Ankaragücü fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Ankaragücü's Selim Bozok looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 58th minute, Ali Orhan Öztimur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Gülnar FK's goal looked a bit too open when Atay Fişek came free, but Ender Atasan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Gülnar FK getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Abdulaziz Kandemir hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Selim Bozok left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ankaragücü fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. If Atay Fişek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atay Fişek in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ender Atasan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th match minute, Gülnar FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Orhan Öztimur to maneuver through the defense. Baransel Akşin was a little too slow when Abdulaziz Kandemir got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 2-2. Baransel Akşin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Güner İnanır, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Güner İnanır received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Baransel Akşin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gülnar FK's zone, Selim Bozok stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ender Atasan came out of the goal and Selim Bozok tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Atay Fişek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
