The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hüsamettin İnanöz in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Günalp Dürüst prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Çağdaş Selçuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Camlica SK's Çağdaş Selçuk got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Karakartallar JK defense, Akgün Cingöz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Haşim Ünveren. The Karakartallar JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Haşim Ünveren should have stopped the shot. Akgün Cingöz struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Ahmet Haşim Ünveren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Camlica SK. When Camlica SK's Çağdaş Selçuk in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Peker Onsoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Günalp Dürüst having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Çağdaş Selçuk to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Akgün Cingöz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ahmet Haşim Ünveren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 63 minutes, Gökalp Bulut mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karakartallar JK and the Camlica SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Karakartallar JK's Gökalp Bulut got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Akgün Cingöz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camlica SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Akgün Cingöz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Haşim Ünveren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Karakartallar JK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Camlica SK:s goal. 83 minutes into the game, Camlica SK's Çağdaş Selçuk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Haşim Ünveren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Peker Onsoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Çağdaş Selçuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Karakartallar JK's zone, Akgün Cingöz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. There was no doubt that Camlica SK were the better team. Camlica SK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
