Mirza Erboğa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aktaç Saadettin in the 42nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Carsibasi's zone, Şakir Şahinter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mirza Erboğa came out of the goal and Şakir Şahinter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carsibasi's Mirza Erboğa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Carsibasi from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Turgay Teksoy struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Mirza Erboğa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ahirkapi. The supporters of Ahirkapi booed when Carsibasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökçe Lebib didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, Aktaç Saadettin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kudret Davarcı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirza Erboğa having to interfere. Mirza Erboğa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şakir Şahinter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carsibasi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Kudret Davarcı's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mirza Erboğa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Ahirkapi's Kudret Davarcı sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mirza Erboğa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kudret Davarcı scored 6-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mirza Erboğa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 87th match minute, Carsibasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Suat Akova to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Carsibasi's goal looked a bit too open when Turgay Teksoy came free, but Mirza Erboğa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahirkapi's Mevlüt Toktamış played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güralp Eriş in the 90th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Ahirkapi's goalkeeper Mevlüt Toktamış had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Devlet Eryetiş. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ahirkapi fully deserved thier win.
