Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Şimşek Sağcan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nurettin Taşkın. Merinos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Berker Rıza Okdemir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibet Akadlı in the 16th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Merinos got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Barış Tura. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nazım Perviz got free with Nurettin Taşkın in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nurettin Taşkın made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Nazım Perviz sent off a good shot on target. If Nazım Perviz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tibet Akadlı kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Merinos's goalkeeper Nurettin Taşkın had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nazım Perviz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erim Ozaner in the 35th minute of play forced Merinos's goalkeeper Nurettin Taşkın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Nazım Perviz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oğuzhan Ahid could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Nurettin Taşkın made a huge save. In the 44th match minute, Merinos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Namık Dicle to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Azmi Osman to strike the kick off in the second half. Berker Rıza Okdemir came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Merinos's Tibet Akadlı. But to his dismay, Tibet Akadlı quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 55 minutes into the match, Erim Ozaner notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Merinos's Nurettin Taşkın. Nurettin Taşkın was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tibet Akadlı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Berker Rıza Okdemir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Karapinar SK got a freekick which was hit by Oğuzhan Ahid. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erim Ozaner in the 64th minute of play forced Merinos's goalkeeper Nurettin Taşkın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Karapinar SK booed when Merinos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Namık Dicle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tibet Akadlı who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Berker Rıza Okdemir when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, Karapinar SK's goalkeeper Berker Rıza Okdemir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Azmi Osman. Oğuzhan Ahid's late challenge caught a Merinos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oğuzhan Ahid helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Oğuzhan Ahid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mustafa Barış Tura was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 74th minute. Merinos's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 80 minutes into the match, Erim Ozaner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nurettin Taşkın. Merinos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erim Ozaner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. If Hüseyin Turan Uçkun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Merinos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
