Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdurrahim Ersunal in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sabit Altıncığlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Halil İbrahim Akçasu hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Ahmet Asım Yavuzay scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sabit Altıncığlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Turgut Cengaver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Sulhi, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The supporters of Salihli JK booed when Psy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Menderes İslamoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferhan Pehlivan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sabit Altıncığlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abdurrahim Ersunal went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Salihli JK getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Kılıç Toydeniz hit a great ball. Psy's Abdurrahim Ersunal got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Salihli JK's goal looked a bit too open when Abdurrahim Ersunal came free, but Sabit Altıncığlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Abdurrahim Ersunal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sabit Altıncığlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Asım Yavuzay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Umur Orsan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Turgut Cengaver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Salihli JK's Işık Yazgan got a free kick in the 34th minute. Ahmet Asım Yavuzay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mehmet Sulhi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Psy got a freekick which was hit by Ferhan Pehlivan. After recieving a nice pass, Salihli JK's Balamir Kunt tried to score from far away in the 55th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Menderes İslamoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Psy's protests and gave Menderes İslamoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes Psy got a freekick which was hit by Menderes İslamoğlu. In the 61st match minute, Psy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferhan Pehlivan to maneuver through the defense. Balamir Kunt was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 62nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehmet Sulhi during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Salihli JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Sulhi to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Salihli JK's Sabit Altıncığlu got control of the ball when Abdurrahim Ersunal tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute of the match Balamir Kunt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Turgut Cengaver showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. İldeniz Vefa charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed İldeniz Vefa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 97 played minutes Salihli JK got a freekick which was hit by İldeniz Vefa. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Psy eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
