In the 26th minute, Güneysu JK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tolga Eraslan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tolga Eraslan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Arif Burak Kuter made a huge save. In the 29th match minute, Bornova City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Ömür Tulunay to maneuver through the defense. Bircan Uluöz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şakir Akkanoğlu in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Bornova City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pekin Tamerk to maneuver through the defense. Bircan Uluöz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selman Timuroz in the 35th minute of play. Güneysu JK's Arif Burak Kuter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Bülent Yumlu in the 40th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Bornova City's Ahmet Bülent Yumlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arif Burak Kuter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 47th minute Derya Rüstem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bircan Uluöz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ahmet Bülent Yumlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Arif Burak Kuter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arif Burak Kuter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tolga Eraslan's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute Şakir Akkanoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bircan Uluöz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kemalettin Kıvılcım had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Derya Rüstems short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Bircan Uluöz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 76 minutes into the match, Ahmet Bülent Yumlu notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Güneysu JK's Arif Burak Kuter. Arif Burak Kuter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Ahmet Bülent Yumlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bornova City's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Bülent Yumlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arif Burak Kuter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arif Burak Kuter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolga Eraslan, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute.
