In the 5th minute, Balaban Kongurtay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Murat Selim Başkara hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Çelikan Zeynel's late challenge caught a Geyve SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Çelikan Zeynel helped the player get up and apologised. Mahir Usal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Yaman Daman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mahir Usal came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Manchester United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mahir Usal couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Geyve SK's zone, Binali Özertem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yaman Daman came out of the goal and Binali Özertem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Binali Özertem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yaman Daman having to interfere. Abayhan Demirel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the game, Mahir Usal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Yaman Daman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yaman Daman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Binali Özertem, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Balaban Kongurtay made the kick off in the second half. Yaman Daman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mahir Usal in the 54th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Murat Selim Başkara during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 58 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Balaban Kongurtay came free, but Fikri Saruca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Binali Özertem blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yaman Daman having to make a save. Manchester United's Fikri Saruca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abayhan Demirel in the 62nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester United's zone, Balaban Kongurtay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fikri Saruca came out of the goal and Balaban Kongurtay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abayhan Demirel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fikri Saruca having to interfere. When Geyve SK's Abayhan Demirel, in the 73rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Geyve SK. In the 75th minute, Ahmet Korkut Rikap hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Balaban Kongurtay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Geyve SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Balaban Kongurtay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fikri Saruca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. İsmail Hakkı Kınık hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Binali Özertem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yaman Daman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahir Usal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fikri Saruca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balaban Kongurtay in the 89th minute of the match. 1-1 became the score in the 90th minute when Abayhan Demirel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Murat Selim Başkara kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. If Abayhan Demirel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
