The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Metehanspor fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Metehanspor's Baran Bilge Kabadayı looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 8 minutes into the game, Azmi Esay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sezer Erengüç. Azmi Esay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Iyan Baltanas was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 13 minutes into the match. Sezer Erengüç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azmi Esay in the 18th minute of play. Enver Korucu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baran Bilge Kabadayı, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Beysehir SK's Rafet Dündar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sezer Erengüç made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Azmi Esay in the 29th minute of play forced Metehanspor's goalkeeper Sezer Erengüç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Azmi Esay was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Metehanspor's goal looked a bit too open when Azmi Esay came free, but Sezer Erengüç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafet Dündar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sezer Erengüç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hayri Sümeroğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Metehanspor's goal looked a bit too open when Azmi Esay came free, but Sezer Erengüç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enver Korucu came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Metehanspor's Baran Bilge Kabadayı. But to his dismay, Baran Bilge Kabadayı quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 90 minutes into the game, Hayri Sümeroğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Sezer Erengüç was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Beysehir SK had won after a very even match.
