Tan Orhan's late challenge caught a Oltu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tan Orhan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd minute, Tan Orhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdullah Suay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İlmi Arabacı in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Süleymaniye's goalkeeper Abdullah Suay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. İshak Okatan scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdullah Suay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. İsmail Orhun Sarısaltuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özmen Türkmen in the 17th minute of play. During the 18th minute of the match Tan Orhan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tan Orhan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 19 played minutes Süleymaniye got a freekick which was hit by Tan Orhan. In the 22nd minute, Özmen Türkmen made a precise shot to the right of İsmail Orhun Sarısaltuk. Oltu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehmet Çağrı Sadan during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mehmet Çağrı Sadan kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Abdullah Suay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efekan Okdağ, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After having played for 33 minutes, Özmen Türkmen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Süleymaniye's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özmen Türkmen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Menderes İplikçi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tayyar Tümkut kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Erkin Ceyhan, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Özmen Türkmen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İsmail Orhun Sarısaltuk having to interfere. Menderes İplikçi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Oltu getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Tayyar Tümkut hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell İlmi Arabacı to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Oltu's Seyhun Şemsi got a free kick in the 54th minute. Süleymaniye's Cihat İplikçi got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 60 played minutes Süleymaniye got a freekick which was hit by Özmen Türkmen. Özmen Türkmen was in a good position and ended up with the ball after Süleymaniye's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal. If İshak Okatan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Özmen Türkmen charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Özmen Türkmen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Süleymaniye getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Özmen Türkmen hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Oltu's goal looked a bit too open when Özmen Türkmen came free, but İsmail Orhun Sarısaltuk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Oltu getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Efekan Okdağ hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Oltu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! The supporters of Oltu booed when Süleymaniye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haşim Özbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. If İlmi Arabacı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 99 played minutes Oltu got a freekick which was hit by Işık Tanak. There was no doubt that Süleymaniye were the better team. Süleymaniye's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
