If Abdurrahman Boğataş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Korhan Şemsi in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salih Yalçın prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abdurrahman Boğataş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Abdurrahman Boğataş managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beşiktaş's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdurrahman Boğataş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salih Yalçın breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Güngör Ersever sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Beşiktaş fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! Lacin SK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Baskın Sabuncuoğlu in the 27th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Beşiktaş's Abdurrahman Boğataş slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Salih Yalçın. That made the score 1-0 after 30 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Korhan Şemsi got free with Salih Yalçın in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Güngör Ersever had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Korhan Şemsi came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Beşiktaş fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Korhan Şemsi couldn't finish the play. Salih Yalçın stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Korhan Şemsi's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdurrahman Boğataş in the 47th minute of play forced Lacin SK's goalkeeper Salih Yalçın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Lacin SK's Ferdi Taykoç got a free kick in the 47th minute. If Güngör Ersever had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abayhan Durkaya to make the kick off. In the 61st minute, Lacin SK's Abayhan Durkaya dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. 65 minutes into the match, Lacin SK's goal looked a bit too open when Abdurrahman Boğataş came free, but Salih Yalçın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Güngör Ersever in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salih Yalçın saved Lacin SK from getting behind. Seyfi Dürüst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Beşiktaş's goal looked a bit too open when Abayhan Durkaya came free, but Hakkı Devrim Hurmacı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Beşiktaş's goalkeeper Hakkı Devrim Hurmacı, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Güngör Ersever received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Salih Yalçın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdurrahman Boğataş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Beşiktaş getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Korhan Şemsi hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Beşiktaş's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Seyfi Dürüst fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 85th minute Güngör Ersever shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salih Yalçın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seyfi Dürüst could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Hakkı Devrim Hurmacı made a huge save. When the referee ended the match the Beşiktaş players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
