Namık Kemal Sümer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akay Sorgun in the 4th minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Akay Sorgun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Namık Kemal Sümer. Göksun's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Akay Sorgun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Nusrettin Sevimli successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Göksun booed when Tahtakale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doğan Zübeyr didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Orhan Hitit in the 11th minute of play forced Tahtakale's goalkeeper Nusrettin Sevimli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Tahtakale getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Akay Sorgun hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Binali Çolakoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Namık Kemal Sümer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Göksun's goalkeeper Namık Kemal Sümer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tahtakale's Akay Sorgun got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Göksun's Namık Kemal Sümer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akay Sorgun in the 25th minute of play. Binali Çolakoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Namık Kemal Sümer having to make a save. Mustafa Orhan Hitit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nusrettin Sevimli having to interfere. Tahir Şenalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Akay Sorgun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Namık Kemal Sümer having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Akay Sorgun to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Göksun got a freekick which was hit by Necdet Secaattin. After 58 played minutes Göksun got a freekick which was hit by Aral Tavgaç. Nusrettin Sevimli didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Göksun's Tahir Şenalp shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Tahir Şenalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Halil Utku Bozoğluer kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Binali Çolakoğlu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. Göksun's supporters rose to their feet, but Tahir Şenalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nusrettin Sevimli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute, Doğan Zübeyr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Namık Kemal Sümer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Binali Çolakoğlu in the 92nd minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
