In the 4thth minute of the game Alican Kalender who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ankara's Abidin Eymen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cabbar İlke's late challenge caught a KOM2500's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cabbar İlke helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th match minute, ankara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cabbar İlke to maneuver through the defense. Kaan Tufan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abidin Eymen having to interfere. After a rather tough play, ankara's Cabbar İlke got a free kick in the 10th minute. The supporters of KOM2500 booed when ankara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vacib Tuğkun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kaan Tufan's late challenge caught a ankara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kaan Tufan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to KOM2500 getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Kaan Tufan hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in KOM2500's zone, Hakan Tulunay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ayhan Birsan came out of the goal and Hakan Tulunay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abidin Eymen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaan Tufan in the 21st minute of the match. Vacib Tuğkun charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vacib Tuğkun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 played minutes ankara got a freekick which was hit by Vacib Tuğkun. The long shot by Fikret Başar in the 27th minute really tested Ayhan Birsan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 34 minutes into the match, KOM2500's goal looked a bit too open when Hakan Tulunay came free, but Ayhan Birsan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute of the match Sefa Yöner sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ayhan Birsan skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaan Tufan in the 40th minute of play forced ankara's goalkeeper Abidin Eymen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aktaç Zati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ayhan Birsan having to interfere. After 45 played minutes ankara got a freekick which was hit by Vacib Tuğkun.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aktaç Zati stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Kaan Tufan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Abidin Eymen, passed just outside the right post. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind ankara's goalkeeper Abidin Eymen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the ankara defense, Kaan Tufan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abidin Eymen. The ankara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abidin Eymen should have stopped the shot. In the 61st minute Alican Kalender shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abidin Eymen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aktaç Zati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ayhan Birsan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Aktaç Zati got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute Alican Kalender shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abidin Eymen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alican Kalender had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abidin Eymen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alican Kalender in the 90th minute of play. The ankara supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching KOM2500's performance. The match ended with a win for KOM2500.
