Spectators: 0 (Terracing: 0, Seating: 0, VIP seats: 0) BEŞİKTAŞ's Marian Chmelyk started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kyriakos Kerveros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mansur Zaid in the 7th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agah Bozok got free with Vehdi Sarim in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kyriakos Kerveros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Korkut Reşit in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, BEŞİKTAŞ's Emrullah Akkuş ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vehdi Sarim. Vehdi Sarim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After 14 played minutes Sariveliler got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Korkut Reşit. After having played for 15 minutes, Agah Bozok managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BEŞİKTAŞ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agah Bozok was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. BEŞİKTAŞ's Marian Chmelyk got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marian Chmelyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vehdi Sarim having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Sariveliler's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Chmelyk came free, but Vehdi Sarim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sariveliler's zone, Marian Chmelyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vehdi Sarim came out of the goal and Marian Chmelyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Agah Bozok let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 38th minute shot 2-1 at rihgt post. BEŞİKTAŞ's Kyriakos Kerveros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feyyaz Kayrak in the 42nd minute of play. Agah Bozok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. BEŞİKTAŞ had played much better football throughout.
