After a defensive mix-up in Marmaris's zone, Haşmet Oyal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artun Cangur came out of the goal and Haşmet Oyal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haşmet Oyal in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Artun Cangur, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 42 minutes into the match, Marmaris's goalkeeper Artun Cangur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haşmet Oyal. 43 minutes into the game, Rıza Ulutan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Basbasi FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marmaris the free kick. After 44 played minutes Basbasi FK got a freekick which was hit by Rıza Ulutan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Numan Yazganalp in the 48th minute of play forced Basbasi FK's goalkeeper Arman Akkın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Marmaris were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience was convinced that Mustafa Numan Yazganalp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arman Akkın was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. With a little luck, Basbasi FK's Arman Akkın got control of the ball when Sancarbey Tandoğdu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Basbasi FK's goalkeeper Arman Akkın had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sancarbey Tandoğdu. Süruri Ergünay charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Süruri Ergünay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th minute, Süruri Ergünay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, Marmaris's Birkan Balıkçı broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Arman Akkın showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Numan Yazganalp in the 87th minute of the match. If Sancarbey Tandoğdu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
