The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gündüz Saltuk during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, Gemerek FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gündüz Saltuk to maneuver through the defense. Selmi Rukni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hakkı Onur Tutkun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th match minute, Susuz FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Selmi Taze to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Susuz FK booed when Gemerek FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mirza İşbilir didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gemerek FK's goalkeeper Selmi Rukni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Selmi Taze, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Hakkı Onur Tutkun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Gemerek FK's Selmi Rukni got control of the ball when Bekir Yatuk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bekir Yatuk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selmi Rukni having to interfere. If Hakkı Onur Tutkun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hakkı Onur Tutkun came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Susuz FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hakkı Onur Tutkun couldn't finish the play. After 49 minutes of play, Gemerek FK's Cumali Kazım made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Behçet Bülbül was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mirza İşbilir was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Susuz FK's İbrahim Efe Aksoy got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Bekir Yatuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Bekir Yatuk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Susuz FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bekir Yatuk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Selmi Rukni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. İbrahim Efe Aksoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th match minute, Susuz FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çakır Namal to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Susuz FK's Behçet Bülbül got control of the ball when Numan Uluöz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bekir Yatuk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hakkı Onur Tutkun took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Selmi Rukni. Selmi Rukni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Susuz FK's Behçet Bülbül played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İskender Baykal in the 78th minute of play. Hakkı Onur Tutkun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Gemerek FK booed when Susuz FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. İbrahim Efe Aksoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee showed Cumali Kazım the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 94 minutes into the match, Susuz FK's Hakkı Onur Tutkun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Selmi Rukni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 97th minute, İbrahim Efe Aksoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 99 minutes into the game, Mirza İşbilir recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Behçet Bülbül. Mirza İşbilir showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2.
