The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Karaburun's goal looked a bit too open when Özbek Akansel came free, but Fuat Sertel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Göktas SK's Abdurrahman Regaip slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fuat Sertel. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. 10 minutes into the match, Karaburun's goal looked a bit too open when Özbek Akansel came free, but Fuat Sertel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Göktas SK's Abdurrahman Regaip got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fuat Sertel made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Abdurrahman Regaip sent off a good shot on target. Kıraç Alişan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the game, Karaburun's Şafak Akasma nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Resulhan Duman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After some careless play in the Karaburun defense, Beşir Beytekin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fuat Sertel. The Karaburun fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fuat Sertel should have stopped the shot. 24 minutes into the game, Faik Şanalp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Göktas SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karaburun the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Göktas SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faik Şanalp to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute Şafak Akasma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Resulhan Duman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uluç Devrim hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Kamber Koray kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Kıraç Alişan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karaburun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kıraç Alişan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kamber Koray charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kamber Koray the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Göktas SK's Kamber Koray got a free kick in the 31st minute. Resulhan Duman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kıraç Alişan in the 34th minute of the match. When Abdurrahman Regaip fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Göktas SK's protests and gave Abdurrahman Regaip a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd match minute, Göktas SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özbek Akansel to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Şafak Akasma made a precise shot to the right of Resulhan Duman. Göktas SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After a rather tough play, Göktas SK's Beşir Beytekin got a free kick in the 65th minute. Fuat Sertel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özbek Akansel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rıza Kuddus during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Karaburun's Rıza Kuddus got a free kick in the 80th minute. Fuat Sertel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özbek Akansel in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Abdurrahman Regaip got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özbek Akansel in the 95th minute of play forced Karaburun's goalkeeper Fuat Sertel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Göktas SK's Özbek Akansel got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Karaburun had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
