The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reis Balcıoğlu made a kick off. The supporters of Mersin booed when Dudullu SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tuncay Orcaner didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Ayhan Yağan managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Mersin's Necip Fazıl Ünüvar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Reis Balcıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İdris Özalp having to interfere. In the 78thth minute of the game Reis Balcıoğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mersin's İdris Özalp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Mersin's goal looked a bit too open when Reis Balcıoğlu came free, but İdris Özalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
