Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Şemsettin Tumbay kicked off to start the match. Bircan Pektaşi was a little too slow when Kutalp Durusoy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. The attack was good, but when Arif Çelebi Kudsi in the 11th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Battal Cüneyt Onatsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şemsettin Tumbay, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Fahri Karabulut charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fahri Karabulut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sultanhamam FK booed when Altinekin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fahri Karabulut didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Ali Cengiz Keçeci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Şemsettin Tumbay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sultanhamam FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Şemsettin Tumbay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Battal Cüneyt Onatsu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Şemsettin Tumbay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Battal Cüneyt Onatsu having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Altinekin's Kutalp Durusoy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bircan Pektaşi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arif Çelebi Kudsi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kutalp Durusoy in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bircan Pektaşi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Şemsettin Tumbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Battal Cüneyt Onatsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Cengiz Keçeci in the 39th minute of play. Kutalp Durusoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Bircan Pektaşi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kutalp Durusoy in the 46th minute of play forced Sultanhamam FK's goalkeeper Bircan Pektaşi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kutalp Durusoy made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Şemsettin Tumbay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Battal Cüneyt Onatsu. Şemsettin Tumbay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Batıray Baysal's late challenge caught a Altinekin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Batıray Baysal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, one of Sultanhamam FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sultanhamam FK. The referee gave Altinekin a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Çağan Kınıkaslan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sultanhamam FK's Bircan Pektaşi. 2-1. In the 65th minute, Altinekin's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Şemsettin Tumbay fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Arif Çelebi Kudsi struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Bircan Pektaşi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altinekin. In the 73rd minute, Selim Sanal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, Sultanhamam FK's Hidayet Kadrican broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 79 played minutes Altinekin got a freekick which was hit by Fahri Karabulut. If Şemsettin Tumbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Altinekin's Battal Cüneyt Onatsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şemsettin Tumbay in the 83rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Sultanhamam FK defense, Kutalp Durusoy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bircan Pektaşi. The Sultanhamam FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bircan Pektaşi should have stopped the shot. After 91 played minutes Sultanhamam FK got a freekick which was hit by Ali Cengiz Keçeci. In the 92nd minute, Arif Çelebi Kudsi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bircan Pektaşi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kutalp Durusoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Pars Devan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Altinekin's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
