Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Roma's Jaroslav Eliáš started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Jaroslav Eliáš put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Resulhan Türemen. In the 6th minute, Halil Ulaç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roma's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Semail Tanören in the 11th minute. Kutlay Kayrak tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Resulhan Türemen. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-0 in the 12th minute. Namık Kemal Totuk hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Semail Tanören blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Resulhan Türemen having to make a save. Resulhan Türemen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaroslav Eliáš in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute Baki Yalavaç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Anghelescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Resulhan Türemen managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Roma's Jaroslav Eliáš fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Roma's Adam Anghelescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tansel Gürgen in the 24th minute of play. Mustafa Kemal Ynceman charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mustafa Kemal Ynceman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Laleli SK booed when Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Kemal Ynceman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 37 minutes, Salih Kıvılcım mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roma and the Laleli SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Roma getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Salih Kıvılcım hit a great ball. With his leg Resulhan Türemen managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Roma's Jaroslav Eliáš fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 44th minute, Halil Ulaç sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Laleli SK's Resulhan Türemen didn't even have to move. Lütfullah Ulucan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adam Anghelescu. Roma's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osman Nuri Yersel made a kick off. Adam Anghelescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baki Yalavaç in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osman Nuri Yersel in the 54th minute of play forced Roma's goalkeeper Adam Anghelescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salih Kıvılcım sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roma's Jaroslav Eliáš got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roma's Adam Anghelescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osman Nuri Yersel in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Roma's Halil Ulaç got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Lütfullah Ulucan's late challenge caught a Roma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lütfullah Ulucan helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes Laleli SK got a freekick which was hit by Lütfullah Ulucan. Resulhan Türemen came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Roma's Salih Kıvılcım. But to his dismay, Salih Kıvılcım quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Tansel Gürgen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Adam Anghelescu made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Adam Anghelescu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Osman Nuri Yersel put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Adam Anghelescu. 81 minutes into the match, Laleli SK's goal looked a bit too open when Salih Kıvılcım came free, but Resulhan Türemen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Laleli SK defense, Jaroslav Eliáš kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Resulhan Türemen. The Laleli SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Resulhan Türemen should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaroslav Eliáš in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Resulhan Türemen saved Laleli SK from getting behind. In the 94th minute, Adnan Kılıçer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laleli SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Roma fully deserved thier win.
