Basri Gilşah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yücel Kerim in the 10th minute of the match. In the 13th match minute, TwB CLuB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özen Dizdar to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the game, Gökçe Özaydın was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TwB CLuB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave fenerbahçe the free kick. Gökçe Özaydın kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 53rd minute Yücel Kerim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basri Gilşah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Fatih Tuncal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Napierkowski in the 54th minute of play. When Nurettin Öksüzoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the fenerbahçe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nurettin Öksüzoğlu couldn't finish the play. Yücel Kerim was extremely unlucky when he, in the 62nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Balamir Yayalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, TwB CLuB's goal looked a bit too open when Jerzy Napierkowski came free, but Mehmet Fatih Tuncal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Basri Gilşah had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bora Onuker. If Jerzy Napierkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. fenerbahçe's Nurettin Öksüzoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. fenerbahçe's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
