Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ergün Sonay started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Napierkowski in the 10th minute of play forced Marmaris JK's goalkeeper Ahmet Danış Tuğkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the game, fenerbahçe's Jerzy Napierkowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Danış Tuğkan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Marmaris JK's zone, Jerzy Napierkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Danış Tuğkan came out of the goal and Jerzy Napierkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Basri Gilşah came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Marmaris JK's Başar İstanbul. But to his dismay, Başar İstanbul quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 21st minute, Jerzy Napierkowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Alaaddin Umurbay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerzy Napierkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the game, fenerbahçe's Jerzy Napierkowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Danış Tuğkan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Başar İstanbul got free with Basri Gilşah in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the match, Jerzy Napierkowski notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Marmaris JK's Ahmet Danış Tuğkan. Ahmet Danış Tuğkan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 41st match minute, Marmaris JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emran Keskin to maneuver through the defense. If Jerzy Napierkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Danış Tuğkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerzy Napierkowski in the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jerzy Napierkowski made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Ergün Sonay notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of fenerbahçe's Basri Gilşah. Basri Gilşah was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 56th minute Ergün Sonay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basri Gilşah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Nurettin Öksüzoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. fenerbahçe's supporters rose to their feet, but Nurettin Öksüzoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Danış Tuğkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Nurettin Öksüzoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Marmaris JK getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ergün Sonay hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the game, Alaaddin Umurbay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marmaris JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave fenerbahçe the free kick. After 63 played minutes Marmaris JK got a freekick which was hit by Alaaddin Umurbay. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Napierkowski in the 67th minute of play forced Marmaris JK's goalkeeper Ahmet Danış Tuğkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aykutalp Başdoğan hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the game, Balamir Yayalp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Ahmet Danış Tuğkan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jerzy Napierkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerzy Napierkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ahmet Danış Tuğkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute of the match fenerbahçe got a corner. Marmaris JK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fırat Özbilir ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jerzy Napierkowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet Danış Tuğkan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Basri Gilşah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Başar İstanbul in the 96th minute of play.
