Gömec's supporters rose to their feet, but Varol Batüralp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Asaf Hürsel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th match minute, Gömec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Altuğ Uyguner to maneuver through the defense. Burdur FK's attack was well implemented in the 12th minute, but when Ahmet Bedri Tüzel was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 15th minute Ahmet Bedri Tüzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kunter Atlıoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Burdur FK defense, Aktaç Coşkun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Asaf Hürsel. The Burdur FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Asaf Hürsel should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Burdur FK's goalkeeper Asaf Hürsel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Burdur FK's goal looked a bit too open when Erhun Kemal came free, but Asaf Hürsel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Gömec getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Enver Balaban hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Erhun Kemal put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Asaf Hürsel. After a rather tough play, Gömec's Aktaç Coşkun got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Acun Şanver struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Kunter Atlıoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burdur FK. In the 37th minute, Ahmet Bedri Tüzel fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kunter Atlıoğlu, passed just outside the right post. Serhat Oytun struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Kunter Atlıoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burdur FK. Serhat Oytun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Kunter Atlıoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Gömec's Erhun Kemal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Asaf Hürsel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Varol Batüralp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 56th minute, Serhat Oytun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gömec's Kunter Atlıoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Bedri Tüzel in the 58th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Gömec got a freekick which was hit by Halit Fahri Özdener. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erhun Kemal in the 65th minute of play forced Burdur FK's goalkeeper Asaf Hürsel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Halit Fahri Özdener charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Halit Fahri Özdener the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Gömec's Halit Fahri Özdener got a free kick in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Serhat Oytun notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Gömec's Kunter Atlıoğlu. Kunter Atlıoğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Acun Şanver during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gömec booed when Burdur FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Acun Şanver didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Burdur FK's Bedrettin Baysal got a free kick in the 77th minute. The audience was convinced that Erhun Kemal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Asaf Hürsel was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. In the 96th minute, Erhun Kemal fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Gömec's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
