Kazan's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaffar Yasun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tolga Kadem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Kazan were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Steel Forge's Tolga Kadem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Steel Forge from getting a goal against them. If Ahmet Turan Böke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 66 minutes, Ahmet Turan Böke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kazan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Turan Böke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ahmet Turan Böke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Tolga Kadem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ahmet Turan Böke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Ahmet Turan Böke dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tolga Kadem, 0-3. Kazan's Hayati Omural got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Steel Forge's zone, Gaffar Yasun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tolga Kadem came out of the goal and Gaffar Yasun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the match, Murat Refik sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Tolga Kadem threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Murat Refik this time. Tolga Kadem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Turan Böke in the 89th minute of play. Gaffar Yasun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolga Kadem having to interfere. Mutlu Bozkurt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Altuğ Taceddin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Kazan getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Mecnun Duman hit a great ball.
