Catak's Demir Kabil got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Ziya Nurtac in the 21st minute of play forced Edremit JK's goalkeeper Kayacan Kaygun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Behçet Tunçkılıç could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Güneş Özge made a huge save. If Demir Kabil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Ziya Nurtac in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kayacan Kaygun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Demir Kabil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kayacan Kaygun having to make a save. Timur Akyazıcı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Catak's Güneş Özge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Catak from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Catak booed when Edremit JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bozkurt Hatim didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Ziya Nurtac to strike the kick off in the second half. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Catak's Affan Bilgiç got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Behçet Tunçkılıç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güneş Özge having to interfere. Timur Akyazıcı blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Güneş Özge having to make a save. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
