The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Bozcaada SK's zone, Kenan Korhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baklan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, Baklan's goal looked a bit too open when Aygün İlighan came free, but Şeref Sarphan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bozcaada SK's Ahmet Oğuz Tutkun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Bozcaada SK from getting a goal against them. Ahmet Haşim Rızkullah took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Şeref Sarphan. Baklan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 28th minute Kenan Korhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Oğuz Tutkun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kenan Korhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bozcaada SK's Ahmet Oğuz Tutkun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Bozcaada SK from getting a goal against them. Şeref Sarphan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aygün İlighan in the 35th minute of play. Kenan Korhan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet Oğuz Tutkun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Bedirhan Eymen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ahmet Oğuz Tutkun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Bedirhan Eymen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ahmet Oğuz Tutkun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Muzaffer Şahinhan hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Aygün İlighan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kenan Korhan struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Ahmet Oğuz Tutkun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baklan. The supporters of Baklan booed when Bozcaada SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caner Tekrim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bedirhan Eymen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Utkan Ökkeş kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the game, Sungurbey Şahtürk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bozcaada SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baklan the free kick. After 79 played minutes Bozcaada SK got a freekick which was hit by Sungurbey Şahtürk.
