After a defensive mix-up in Karamanköy's zone, Bedirhan Eymen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdulhamit Yürüker came out of the goal and Bedirhan Eymen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bedirhan Eymen took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdulhamit Yürüker. Abdulhamit Yürüker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The supporters of Baklan booed when Karamanköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinçer Tutkun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karamanköy's Abdulhamit Yürüker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Karamanköy from getting a goal against them. Dinçer Tutkun was shown his second yellow card after 39 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 40th minute, Dinçer Tutkun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bedirhan Eymen got free with Abdulhamit Yürüker in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Kenan Korhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kenan Korhan in the 49th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdulhamit Yürüker saved Karamanköy from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Baklan's Şeref Sarphan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Baklan from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute, Ahmet Korcan Erduran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baklan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Ahmet Korcan Erduran scored to the left of an out of position Şeref Sarphan, making the score, 2-1. In the 76th match minute, Baklan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ufuk Uyun to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kenan Korhan in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdulhamit Yürüker saved Karamanköy from getting behind. 81 minutes into the game, İlkan Talayman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karamanköy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baklan the free kick. After a rather tough play, Karamanköy's İlkan Talayman got a free kick in the 81st minute. Abdulhamit Yürüker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenan Korhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdulhamit Yürüker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenan Korhan in the 89th minute of play. When Ahmet Korcan Erduran came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Karamanköy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Korcan Erduran couldn't finish the play. Kenan Korhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bedirhan Eymen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karamanköy's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
