The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Şamil Demiroğlu during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

In the 52nd minute, Yaman Şahinkan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and KARŞIYAKA's Furkan Taci didn't even have to move. Ediz Derelioğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Furkan Taci read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Kadri Teren made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 69thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Adem Oyal would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rüstem Samil in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adem Oyal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ediz Derelioğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rüstem Samil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute.
