Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Beşiktaş JK's Nusret Yoruç ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yaşar Erem. Yaşar Erem yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Sungur Erdurmus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yaşar Erem having to interfere. Hayati Tokcan's late challenge caught a Beşiktaş JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hayati Tokcan helped the player get up and apologised. Hayati Tokcan kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Hayati Tokcan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cenker Bağışcan. Beşiktaş JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hayati Tokcan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 23rd minute Halim Şahkar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cenker Bağışcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Beşiktaş JK getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Nusret Yoruç hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halim Şahkar in the 27th minute of play forced Beşiktaş JK's goalkeeper Cenker Bağışcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cenker Bağışcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hayati Tokcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beşiktaş JK's Felippe Benavides got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Uygur Taze ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cenker Bağışcan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Nusret Yoruç put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Yaşar Erem. istanbulspor's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Felippe Benavides 46 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-2. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Halim Şahkar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Felippe Benavides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nusret Yoruç in the 56th minute of play forced istanbulspor's goalkeeper Yaşar Erem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yaşar Erem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Can Afacan in the 59th minute of play. Yaşar Erem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sungur Erdurmus, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Felippe Benavides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yaşar Erem having to interfere. Cenker Bağışcan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Halil Utku Gençoğlu. Cenker Bağışcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Halim Şahkar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Halim Şahkar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uygur Taze received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cenker Bağışcan came out and tried to block the shot, but Uygur Taze slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 76th minute. After a defensive mix-up in istanbulspor's zone, Sungur Erdurmus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yaşar Erem came out of the goal and Sungur Erdurmus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Felippe Benavides came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Beşiktaş JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felippe Benavides couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nusret Yoruç in the 87th minute of play forced istanbulspor's goalkeeper Yaşar Erem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute Halim Şahkar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cenker Bağışcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Uygur Taze recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cenker Bağışcan. Uygur Taze showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched istanbulspor eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
