Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gürkan Balcan took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Elbistan's Gürkan Balcan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vahdet Haylaz. Vahdet Haylaz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Gürkan Balcan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vahdet Haylaz was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 8th minute, Birkan Ocakçı had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lütfullah Ülkü during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Ömeranlı SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lütfullah Ülkü to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 10 minutes, Güntekin Öztürk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elbistan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Güntekin Öztürk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. İskender Tanju made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aytaç Öğeturk in the 22nd minute of play. Güntekin Öztürk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vahdet Haylaz having to make a save. Elbistan's Güntekin Öztürk got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ömeranlı SK's goalkeeper Vahdet Haylaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a defensive mix-up in Ömeranlı SK's zone, Güntekin Öztürk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vahdet Haylaz came out of the goal and Güntekin Öztürk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lütfullah Ülkü hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Güntekin Öztürk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vahdet Haylaz having to interfere. Aytaç Öğeturk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ömeranlı SK's Güngör Mikail got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aytaç Öğeturk in the 70th minute of play forced Elbistan's goalkeeper İskender Tanju to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rüştü Akdoğan hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Güngör Mikail sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Güngör Mikail got free with İskender Tanju in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th match minute, Elbistan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adnan Aydın to maneuver through the defense. Güngör Mikail in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of İskender Tanju, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Elbistan reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Afşar Sidam during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes Elbistan got a freekick which was hit by Afşar Sidam. 96 minutes into the match, Elbistan's goal looked a bit too open when Aytaç Öğeturk came free, but İskender Tanju reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elbistan's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
