Mevlüt Ömer charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mevlüt Ömer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pamukova getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Mevlüt Ömer hit a great ball. İskender Özerek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Emir Nursal having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Emir Nursal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vehdi Özbey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Emir Nursal having to interfere.
The wind increased when Şükrü Taki made the kick off in the second half. Mevlüt Ömer hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the match, Ahmet Korkut Siraceddin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pamukova's Mehmet Emre Günay. Mehmet Emre Günay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gediz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pamukova the free kick. İskender Özerek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ahmet Emir Nursal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pamukova's İskender Özerek got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
