Ahmet Davut Ağaverdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cihangir Humbaracıbaşı having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Trabzonspor SK got a freekick which was hit by Orhun Faydalı. Cihangir Humbaracıbaşı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güntekin Yağız in the 18th minute of play. Cihangir Humbaracıbaşı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Güntekin Yağız, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the game, Tunç Esraf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cudispor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trabzonspor SK the free kick. After 21 played minutes Cudispor got a freekick which was hit by Tunç Esraf. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güntekin Yağız in the 28th minute of play forced Trabzonspor SK's goalkeeper Cihangir Humbaracıbaşı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cudispor's Ahmet Davut Ağaverdi got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cihangir Humbaracıbaşı stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Davut Ağaverdi's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Davut Ağaverdi in the 34th minute of play forced Trabzonspor SK's goalkeeper Cihangir Humbaracıbaşı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Cudispor's Güntekin Yağız nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cihangir Humbaracıbaşı made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 45 minutes into the match, Numan Okboğa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mücahit Açar, 2-1. Cihangir Humbaracıbaşı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Trabzonspor SK defense, Ahmet Davut Ağaverdi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cihangir Humbaracıbaşı. The Trabzonspor SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cihangir Humbaracıbaşı should have stopped the shot. 60 minutes into the match, Cudispor's goal looked a bit too open when Arda Baybars Veysi came free, but Mücahit Açar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute of the match, Ahmet Davut Ağaverdi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cihangir Humbaracıbaşı saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 68th minute, Arda Baybars Veysi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mücahit Açar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Numan Okboğa, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, Güntekin Yağız got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Davut Ağaverdi in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cihangir Humbaracıbaşı saved Trabzonspor SK from getting behind. Cihangir Humbaracıbaşı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Davut Ağaverdi in the 95th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
