Kocaköy's Taner Acarsoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bayındır Mehmet Oğurata in the 41st minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bayındır Mehmet Oğurata was the one to do the kick off. Sebastian Siniştean was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Batuğ Suni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Lokomotif Dinamo Spartak booed when Kocaköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hıncal Girgin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kocaköy's Yağız Haylaz got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. But to his dismay, Berker Baytekin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Batuğ Suni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bayındır Mehmet Oğurata's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Taner Acarsoy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Sebastian Siniştean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batuğ Suni, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
