Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Karsiyaka's Dinç Okman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dinç Okman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 7 minutes into the game, Suat Kiner recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yalçın Kahraman. Suat Kiner showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efe Savaş in the 10th minute of play forced Karsiyaka's goalkeeper Yalçın Kahraman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18thth minute of the game Efe Savaş who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karsiyaka's Yalçın Kahraman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Güral Muzaffer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abdurrezzak Özilter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinç Okman, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Dinç Okman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes in the game, Bedirhan Işınsu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Yalçın Kahraman having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After a defensive mix-up in Karsiyaka's zone, Efe Savaş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yalçın Kahraman came out of the goal and Efe Savaş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Efe Savaş's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yalçın Kahraman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Karsiyaka's goal looked a bit too open when Efe Savaş came free, but Yalçın Kahraman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dinç Okman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dinç Okman came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Karsiyaka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dinç Okman couldn't finish the play. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Demirci! 79 minutes into the match, Demirci's Suat Kiner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yalçın Kahraman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Suat Kiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Güral Muzaffer during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 88 played minutes Karsiyaka got a freekick which was hit by Güral Muzaffer. Efe Savaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yalçın Kahraman having to interfere. Faik Kayrak kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Suat Kiner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 97 minutes, Efe Savaş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Demirci's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efe Savaş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Karsiyaka had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
