Sadri Çakar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Korkut Çidam, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. If İbrahim Ethem Aysan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Korkut Çidam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. İbrahim Ethem Aysan might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Batur Ertüze. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. İbrahim Ethem Aysan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 16th minute, Arif Nihat Enbiya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antalya JK's Ferit Honazlı couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Trabzonpor. In the 19th minute, İbrahim Ethem Aysan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 22 played minutes Antalya JK got a freekick which was hit by Akay Akçakoca. Nurtekin Tengiz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 25th playminute. Nurtekin Tengiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sadri Çakar having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Antalya JK's zone, Korkut Çidam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sadri Çakar came out of the goal and Korkut Çidam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Korkut Çidam in the 35th minute of play forced Antalya JK's goalkeeper Sadri Çakar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Trabzonpor getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ejder Ruhittin hit a great ball. Antalya JK's Ferit Honazlı couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 44th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Trabzonpor. Batur Ertüze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asım Sağıt in the 46th minute of the match. When Arif Nihat Enbiya fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trabzonpor's protests and gave Arif Nihat Enbiya a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Antalya JK booed when Trabzonpor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arif Nihat Enbiya didn't get a good kick on the ball. 49 minutes into the match, Antalya JK's Ferit Honazlı broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Asım Sağıt to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Asım Sağıt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batur Ertüze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nurtekin Tengiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Trabzonpor's Nurtekin Tengiz got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sadri Çakar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Nihat Enbiya, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Trabzonpor's Batur Ertüze proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Trabzonpor from getting a goal against them. 80 minutes into the game, Sacit Balcı was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Antalya JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trabzonpor the free kick. The referee gave Trabzonpor a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ejder Ruhittin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Antalya JK's Sadri Çakar. 2-0. 85 minutes into the match, Trabzonpor's goal looked a bit too open when Asım Sağıt came free, but Batur Ertüze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asım Sağıt in the 87th minute of play forced Trabzonpor's goalkeeper Batur Ertüze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 played minutes, Trabzonpor's Tolunay Akkuş shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sadri Çakar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Trabzonpor reached it. If Asım Sağıt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, İbrahim Ethem Aysan made a precise shot to the right of Batur Ertüze. Trabzonpor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Tahir Ertüze charged in rather forcefully in the 99th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tahir Ertüze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 99 played minutes Antalya JK got a freekick which was hit by Tahir Ertüze. Trabzonpor's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
