Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dündar Ağcabey kicked off to start the match. Erdem Özdinçer kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Nejat Mertkal hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dündar Ağcabey in the 8th minute of play forced Derik's goalkeeper Görkem Uraltay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Arda Kadi notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Derik's Görkem Uraltay. Görkem Uraltay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Derik's Nejat Mertkal got a free kick in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dündar Ağcabey in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Görkem Uraltay saved Derik from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Ahmet Çağrı Selçuk put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Faik Refik. 28 minutes into the game, Rıfat Şemsi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sinop's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Derik the free kick. After 28 played minutes Sinop got a freekick which was hit by Rıfat Şemsi. In the 33rd minute, Erdem Özdinçer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Sinop booed when Derik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nejat Mertkal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arda Kadi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Görkem Uraltay made a huge save. If Arda Kadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dündar Ağcabey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Sinop's Cemil Sökmensu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Görkem Uraltay in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 1-2 became the score in the 59th minute when Ahmet Çağrı Selçuk elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Rıfat Şemsi had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Fahri Necati fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Derik's protests and gave Fahri Necati a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 played minutes Derik got a freekick which was hit by Fahri Necati. With a little luck, Sinop's Faik Refik got control of the ball when Ahmet Çağrı Selçuk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arda Kadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Çağrı Selçuk who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Faik Refik when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ahmet Çağrı Selçuk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faik Refik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Ahmet Çağrı Selçuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Faik Refik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sinop's goalkeeper Faik Refik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, Derik's Ahmet Çağrı Selçuk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Faik Refik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After 90 minutes of play, Sinop's Arda Kadi made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Görkem Uraltay was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ahmet Çağrı Selçuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
