Mustafa Kemal Böke kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. If Burak Canol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. Alpertunga Özdilmaç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oktay Hızır having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Osmangazi's zone, Burak Canol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oktay Hızır came out of the goal and Burak Canol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Osmangazi getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Bedrettin Öztay hit a great ball. Kenan Danış struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Oktay Hızır didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DeğirmenÇayırı SK. Burak Canol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ragıp Rikap fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baykan Oytunç having to interfere. Mehmet Bedri Taşer kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Ragıp Rikap managed to get in a good position for a shot. Osmangazi's supporters rose to their feet, but Ragıp Rikap was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baykan Oytunç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Mustafa Kemal Böke came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Osmangazi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustafa Kemal Böke couldn't finish the play. Alpertunga Özdilmaç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Oktay Hızır tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alpertunga Özdilmaç stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oktay Hızır showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yılmaz Rauf in the 54th minute of the match. The supporters of DeğirmenÇayırı SK booed when Osmangazi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alaaddin Parskan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, DeğirmenÇayırı SK's Burak Canol got a free kick in the 62nd minute. When Mustafa Kemal Böke came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Osmangazi fans jumped to their feet. In the 77th minute, Burak Canol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
