Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Talip Dilan kicked off to start the match. Altan Dağdelens short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Ali Geçim to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Tayfun Başkaynak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gemlik's supporters rose to their feet, but Tayfun Başkaynak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Geçim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Talip Dilan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ali Geçim was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 15th match minute, Bayburt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa İzzet Başol to maneuver through the defense. Ali Geçim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Talip Dilan in the 24th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gemlik fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Bayburt a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Namık Kemal Kabataş, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gemlik's Yücel Yurday. 1-1. In the 35th minute of the match, Talip Dilan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ali Geçim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bayburt's Ali Geçim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Talip Dilan in the 38th minute of play. When Mehmet Özbey came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Bayburt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehmet Özbey couldn't finish the play. If Şakir Mürsel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Şakir Mürsel to make the kick off. Ali Geçim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Altan Dağdelen, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Altan Dağdelen might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ali Geçim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Altan Dağdelen ran back to his position shaking his head. Altan Dağdelen took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ali Geçim. Ali Geçim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Talip Dilan in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ali Geçim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Talip Dilan in the 75th minute of play forced Bayburt's goalkeeper Ali Geçim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mehmet Özbey's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Yücel Yurday firmly grabbed it by the left post. Talip Dilan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Altan Dağdelen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 86 played minutes Gemlik got a freekick which was hit by Aysan Yonal. Gemlik's Talip Dilan got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ali Geçim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Altan Dağdelen in the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Talip Dilan in the 95th minute of play forced Bayburt's goalkeeper Ali Geçim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gemlik had won after a very even match.
