Mecnun Başay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Talip Dilan, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Mecnun Başay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Talip Dilan in the 31st minute of the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Talip Dilan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mecnun Başay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gemlik. Talip Dilan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mecnun Başay having to interfere. After some careless play in the Cihanbeyli SK defense, Altan Dağdelen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mecnun Başay. The Cihanbeyli SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mecnun Başay should have stopped the shot. The Gemlik supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cihanbeyli SK's performance. The match ended with a win for Cihanbeyli SK.
