Kulu's İskender Baki Işılay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Bülent Kırdar in the 33rd minute of play. If Ahmet Bülent Kırdar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İskender Baki Işılay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enes Bağış, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute Güneri Ramazan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İskender Baki Işılay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Bülent Kırdar to make the kick off. Ahmet Bülent Kırdar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İskender Baki Işılay having to interfere. İskender Baki Işılay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Bülent Kırdar in the 55th minute of play. Ahmet Bülent Kırdar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Kulu booed when Kangal SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enes Bağış didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Kulu getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Özbek Özger hit a great ball. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Kulu's Bahattin Kutsoy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mustafa Haydar Akın narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Bahattin Kutsoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ragıp Sebati in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mustafa Haydar Akın prevented the ball from getting in the gole. İskender Baki Işılay was a little too slow when Ahmet Bülent Kırdar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 2-1. The supporters of Kangal SK booed when Kulu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. İsmail Orhun Taşkıner didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Ahmet Bülent Kırdar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kangal SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Bülent Kırdar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. İskender Baki Işılay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kulu fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kangal SK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
