The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Erkan Canberk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dogubeyazit FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Erkan Canberk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sungurhan Özinan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mehmet Bedri Özsan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sungurhan Özinan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Sungurhan Özinan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Bedri Özsan in the 10th minute of the match. Melik Ümran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Bernard Rozanski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Dogubeyazit FK's zone, Alparslan Tamkut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernard Rozanski came out of the goal and Alparslan Tamkut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Melik Ümran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernard Rozanski having to interfere. When Mehmet Bedri Özsan came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Dogubeyazit FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehmet Bedri Özsan couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Alparslan Tamkut made a precise shot to the right of Bernard Rozanski. Dogubeyazit FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When Behiç Tacir fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Siirt SK's protests and gave Behiç Tacir a yellow card for diving instead. Behiç Tacir kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Siirt SK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alparslan Tamkut stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Şamil İklim kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Siirt SK's Ömer Uluhan tried to score from far away in the 55th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Behiç Tacir kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Melik Ümran succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 67th playminute. In the 77thth minute of the game Nazil Kapar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Siirt SK's Sungurhan Özinan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mehmet Bedri Özsan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Sungurhan Özinan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Alparslan Tamkut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Melik Ümran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melik Ümran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Dogubeyazit FK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Siirt SK's performance. The match ended with a win for Siirt SK.
