When Akşemseddin Özil came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Selim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Akşemseddin Özil couldn't finish the play. After having played for 29 minutes, Seyfi Aydemir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Seyfi Aydemir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Raşit Arınç cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Baturay Nezihi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Selim's Seyfi Aydemir got a free kick in the 39th minute. The supporters of Karaagac JK booed when Selim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nedim Seyran didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bektaş Emir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Bektaş Emir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raşit Arınç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Baturay Nezihi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baturay Nezihi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bektaş Emir, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The audience was convinced that Seyfi Aydemir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Volkan Ülkem was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. The Karaagac JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. 97 minutes into the game, Seyfi Aydemir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
