Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Halit Ziya Bilgehan to make the kick off. The referee ignored Selim's protests and gave Tuncer Akbaba a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hasan Ali Kornes in the 95th minute of play forced Selim's goalkeeper Baturay Nezihi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Selim left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Asarcik SK.
