Yavuzeli SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ahlat the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Yavuzeli SK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! In the 22nd minute Cafer Tonguç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamdi Toycan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yavuzeli SK were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Ahlat's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Özden Adanır took the corner. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
