Çetin Uludağ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cuma Onay got free with Muzaffer Kuyas in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Hinis getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Battal Haliç hit a great ball. After 14 played minutes Hinis got a freekick which was hit by Abdulmelik Terim. Cat SK's Baskın Akçakoca shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 15th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Muzaffer Kuyas but with some difficulty. 16 minutes into the match, Cat SK's goal looked a bit too open when Battal Haliç came free, but Ahmet Hakan Garipbaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Güven Onuralp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Hinis's Muzaffer Kuyas got control of the ball when Cuma Onay tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute, Baskın Akçakoca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Cat SK's zone, Bedri Seyran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Hakan Garipbaş came out of the goal and Bedri Seyran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the game, Güven Onuralp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hinis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cat SK the free kick. In the 28th minute, Güven Onuralp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Güven Onuralp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Hakan Garipbaş having to interfere. After some careless play in the Cat SK defense, Battal Haliç kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Hakan Garipbaş. The Cat SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Hakan Garipbaş should have stopped the shot. Baskın Akçakoca's late challenge caught a Hinis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baskın Akçakoca helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cat SK's Baskın Akçakoca got a free kick in the 35th minute. Güven Onuralp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Hakan Garipbaş having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Battal Haliç in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Hakan Garipbaş saved Cat SK from getting behind. Battal Haliç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 46 minutes, Cuma Onay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cat SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cuma Onay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

After a rather tough play, Cat SK's Cuma Onay got a free kick in the 51st minute. The long shot by Kuzey Akdoğan in the 53rd minute really tested Ahmet Hakan Garipbaş's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Çetin Uludağ hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute Çetin Uludağ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muzaffer Kuyas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cat SK's Baskın Akçakoca got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute Abdulmelik Terim suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Umur Zevahir kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. The long shot by Bedri Seyran in the 67th minute really tested Ahmet Hakan Garipbaş's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Cuma Onay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rıfat Ozan fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hinis's protests and gave Rıfat Ozan a yellow card for diving instead. Muzaffer Kuyas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Çetin Uludağ, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute Cat SK were awarded a corner. Baskın Akçakoca went to the cornerflag to take it. Sacit Berksu's late challenge caught a Hinis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sacit Berksu helped the player get up and apologised. Sacit Berksu kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Güven Onuralp succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 83rd playminute. 86 minutes into the game, Cat SK's Cuma Onay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Muzaffer Kuyas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hinis eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
