Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Berkan Orcaner started the match with the kick off. Hayrettin Karadağ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göksel Kocaker in the 4th minute of the match. Şafak Yeğrek's late challenge caught a Vikings's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şafak Yeğrek helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Şafak Yeğrek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aral Şems's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bilgehan Bağcı read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of Vikings booed when Trabzonspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Memo Demircan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Çakabey Ehlimen charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Çakabey Ehlimen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Trabzonspor booed when Vikings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çakabey Ehlimen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vikings's Hayrettin Karadağ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İbrahim Ethem Devlettin in the 21st minute of play. Aral Şems received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Bilgehan Bağcı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by İbrahim Ethem Devlettin in the 26th minute of play forced Vikings's goalkeeper Hayrettin Karadağ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bilgehan Bağcı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derviş İlighan, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Aral Şems took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bilgehan Bağcı. Bilgehan Bağcı dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Aral Şems recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paul Burca hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Trabzonspor's goal looked a bit too open when Derviş İlighan came free, but Bilgehan Bağcı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Berkan Orcaner came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Vikings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berkan Orcaner couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd match minute, Trabzonspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Izydor Kochanowski to maneuver through the defense. Bilgehan Bağcı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aral Şems in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. İbrahim Ethem Devlettin was the one to do the kick off. A throw-in in the 57th minute of the game was made by Tenyo Súrbov with Şafak Yeğrek as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Göksel Kocaker struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Hayrettin Karadağ didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trabzonspor. After 68 played minutes Trabzonspor got a freekick which was hit by Paul Burca. Çakabey Ehlimen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Bilgehan Bağcı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vikings's goalkeeper Hayrettin Karadağ, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Namık Mengü struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Bilgehan Bağcı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vikings. Vikings's Hayrettin Karadağ proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Vikings from getting a goal against them. Vikings's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
