Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Reşit Cemşit started the match with the kick off. If Aytuğ Temizel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Battal Cüneyt İlsak during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Karagümrük SK getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Battal Cüneyt İlsak hit a great ball. Tevfik Yücelay received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alim Akdoruk came out and tried to block the shot, but Tevfik Yücelay slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. Reşit Cemşit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murathan Doğa having to interfere. A collision led to DODURGASPOR getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Taner Demiralp hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Reşit Cemşit left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Karagümrük SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The audience was convinced that Reşit Cemşit's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Murathan Doğa was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Reşit Cemşit might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Murathan Doğa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reşit Cemşit ran back to his position shaking his head. Saffet İnegöllü fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murathan Doğa having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saffet İnegöllü in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Murathan Doğa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute, Tevfik Yücelay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. DODURGASPOR's Murathan Doğa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saffet İnegöllü in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tevfik Yücelay to strike the kick off in the second half. Berker Rıza Akyel kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Alim Akdoruk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tevfik Yücelay in the 52nd minute of play. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Karagümrük SK! Reşit Cemşit was extremely unlucky when he, in the 61st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, DODURGASPOR's Saruhan Ahi got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The supporters of DODURGASPOR booed when Karagümrük SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reşit Cemşit didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tevfik Yücelay in the 72nd minute of play forced Karagümrük SK's goalkeeper Alim Akdoruk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aytuğ Temizel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alim Akdoruk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Tevfik Yücelay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Alim Akdoruk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89 minutes of play, Karagümrük SK's Saffet İnegöllü made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Murathan Doğa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Melih Cevdet Karadağ hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Battal Cüneyt İlsak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Karagümrük SK's goalkeeper Alim Akdoruk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Karagümrük SK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented DODURGASPOR from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
