When Aras Görkem Haspolatlı came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Ikitelli FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aras Görkem Haspolatlı couldn't finish the play. Derviş Balısoy kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. kaya Ferikoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Güntekin Tolunay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Derviş Balısoy who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Şevket Ekincioğlu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 35th match minute, Ikitelli FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abbas Öktuna to maneuver through the defense. Derviş Balısoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şevket Ekincioğlu having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aras Görkem Haspolatlı stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ikitelli FK's Derviş Balısoy got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Şevket Ekincioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aras Görkem Haspolatlı, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, kaya Ferikoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arpacay's supporters crossed their fingers, but kaya Ferikoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 60 played minutes Ikitelli FK got a freekick which was hit by Yunus Ruhi. The supporters of Arpacay booed when Ikitelli FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abbas Öktuna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Işıkalp İribaş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. kaya Ferikoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. When Ahmet İlhan Bilgiç fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arpacay's protests and gave Ahmet İlhan Bilgiç a yellow card for diving instead.
