But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Murat Selim Kani couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute, Afşar Saltuk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Cindere United's Yüksel Keykubad got a free kick in the 10th minute. Cindere United's Battal Cüneyt Sungurtekin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Cindere United from getting a goal against them. Battal Cüneyt Sungurtekin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 14th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 20th minute Karhan Zeynel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çağlar Oba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Sile's goal looked a bit too open when Karhan Zeynel came free, but Çağlar Oba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Cindere United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 33rd match minute, Cindere United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eren Refik to maneuver through the defense. Mustafa Oğuz Coşkuner took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Battal Cüneyt Sungurtekin. Cindere United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cindere United's Battal Cüneyt Sungurtekin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Cindere United from getting a goal against them. Sile's Mustafa İzzet Hürmüz got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Afşar Saltuk was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa İzzet Hürmüz in the 55th minute of play forced Cindere United's goalkeeper Battal Cüneyt Sungurtekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cindere United's zone, Mustafa İzzet Hürmüz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Battal Cüneyt Sungurtekin came out of the goal and Mustafa İzzet Hürmüz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute, Mustafa İzzet Hürmüz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Afşar Saltuk struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Battal Cüneyt Sungurtekin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sile. Battal Cüneyt Sungurtekin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mustafa İzzet Hürmüz went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Battal Cüneyt Sungurtekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hakkı Deniz Ersevim in the 70th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Afşar Saltuk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sile's supporters rose to their feet, but Afşar Saltuk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Battal Cüneyt Sungurtekin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute, Murat Selim Kani made a precise shot to the right of Çağlar Oba. Sile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Sile's Hakkı Deniz Ersevim got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sile's goalkeeper Çağlar Oba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cindere United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
